I've watched Pastor Sheryl Brady’s Christmas Miracle video, several times, over the years. Each time I watch it, I am immediately launched into pure praise and worship mode!
It shows what God can do, based on faith. God is still a healer!
Some say they know He is, but for what ever reason, they truly don’t believe that He will do it for them. That mother in the video dared to trust God! Believing that, if she could just get her baby to the house of prayer, where people of God could touch and agree with her, for her daughter’s healing, that something would happen! And, it did!
Jesus declared to the woman, with the issue of blood, that her faith had made her whole. Isaiah declared that “by His stripes we are healed.” “THAT” praise and worship, that was taking place, at that church, even before they could see the healing take place, is what God seeks from us. Thanking Him in the midst of the trial. Praising and believing Him, in the midst of our despair.Sometimes, when you’re desparate for a breakthrough bad enough, you have to lay out on your face and cry out to Him. I know I’m not too proud to go there. Pastor Brady didn’t hesitate to go down on here face before Him, on behalf of that mother and child.
There are very few people who do that anymore. Grandmother’s and mothers used to “stretch out on His Word!!” as the elder’s would say, and begin to rebuke the enemy, on their family’s, behalf. They would decree and declare, life and protection, over them. They would plead the blood over those that they loved and cared about. They would intercede for those they were connected to, and those who they knew were sick, or in trouble. You dont find that much anymore.
But God’s still has a remnant of praying people. He’s got a remnant, of those, who still believe Him. He’s got a remnant of those who still love their neighbor. He’s got a remnant of those that still love Him!
He has not changed, He’s still a healer! He’s still a deliverer! He’s still a rock, in a weary land! All He’s waiting for, is for us to believe, what He said, He would do.
That Mother, Pastor Brady, and that congregation believed, in spite of what it “looked” like. And He moved, right in the midst of their praise! What are you believing Him to do for you, and those that you love? Let me know in the comments section, so that I can stand in agreement with you. We will pray and praise Him together, until He moves, and He WILL!
Be blessed and encouraged today. God is STILL ABLE.
I start off everyday pleading the blood, over my family, loved ones, church members, the works and tactics of the enemy. Over our bodies, our home, our finances, our transportation, and those who may mean us harm. I plead it over those that I know who are hurting and lost. I do it, because I trust the Blood and I believe the Word. I do it because I know my arms, my reach, and my abilities are limited, but the Blood and the Word are not bound!
It'll subdue anything and any spirit, that dares to rise up against you.
The blood that He shed on Calvary, broke the curses of poverty and lack, healed infirmities, sickness, and diseases. It released us from the yokes of bondage and strongholds. The Blood, He shed, conquered Death, Hell, and the grave. Took the sting out of it, took the victory away from it! It set those that were in captivity, free. The Blood that was shed released power and life, and it never lost it's power. It gave us back our dominion and authority. His suffering gave us victory and a peace that surpasses all understanding.
I am thankful that it's power is Eternal. Never-ending, Never failing. It never has, and it never will lose it's power.
My plan was to post, individually, on all, of the 7 places Jesus shed His blood. However, so much is happening in my Spirit on a daily basis, and it's all coming at me so fast.. so I'm about to take this in a different direction, for the moment, so that I can give y'all ALL that God is giving me, in realtime, if that's possible..LOL
Today I'm going to list all 7 places he bled and why, instead of doing 7 several separate posts as I'd planned. I also plan to upload a video of me preaching a message that touches on all of them, briefly. Just briefly because, I taught all 7, in depth as part of a series, called the 10 Curses That Block Blessings, for my Bible study class. A book by Larry Huch. After watching the upload, if you want to purchase the teaching series, or the sermon on DVD, just let me know in the comments section, and I can tell you how to order those. So I'll do that within the next couple of days. After that I want to take you guys on a year long expedition with my prayer journal and vision board. My Bible study class, and I, are committed to seeing this prayer journal through for an entire year. Its only month 1 and so much is happening by way of prayer and the Holy Spirit, in my life, and the lives of the ppl that are connected to me.If you try it with us, I guarantee that it will bless you too! I"ll go over it in depth tomorrow and try to upload a worksheet that lists what all it entails. I'm excited. Tell a friend.
So now to the 7 places He shed blood and why. (video coming soon)
When you begin to ponder the plan and the provision of God, along with how much power He has given us, it is mind boggling. It will open up your life and destiny like you could never imagine. His word says so. And I believe it, because I'm seeing Him do it, right before my very eyes.
This year I plan to walk in every ounce of authority that God has given me. I will decree and declare His provision over my life each and every day, and all my ways will be subject to Him.
"seek ye first the kingdom of God, and its righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you".. !!
The 7 places Jesus shed blood.
The Garden of Gethsemane. Jesus shed His blood there, to restore man's willpower. In the Garden of Eden, is where it was lost, when Eve conceded her will to the enemy, and her husband followed suit. It was there, where their will, to remain connected to the Father's will, was initially severed. It is when Satan became the Prince of the world. Whatever God you serve and obey, is the one who rule your life. At that moment Adam sacrificed the will of mankind.
In the Garden of Gethsemane is where Jesus shed his blood to buy it back. He went into the Garden fully aware that He would redeem our wills. He labored with Father in prayer, until He felt his flesh line up with His Spirit. He prayed three times, "not My will, but thy will be done". He knew the cup would be bitter, but with the help of His Father, that even if it didn't pass from Him, He could endure it.
The Bible said that He begin to sweat drops of blood, a medical phenomenon, known as hemathydrosis. It occurs when the body is under incredible stress and fear. The way the heart begins to pump, under such durest, causes the blood vessels to burst underneath the skin, and come out from the pores of skin. Thus the "sweating of blood".
The is mankind's greatest battle. Aligning our will, with the will of the Father. But we can plead the shed blood of Jesus, over everything that dares to exalt itself above the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. (2Cor 10:5)
We must pray and plead His shed Blood, to help us align our wills, with the will of Father, knowing that He knows what's best for us. Ask Him, to help us, keep Him as the preeminent force in our lives. He knows how to lead us and guide us. For He is Alpha and Omega, The First and The Last.
Please stayed tuned over the next week for the remaining parts of this series. Next post ...The Scourging at the Whipping Post.
